Burritt Meat Products & Catering was established in Winnebago, Illinois around 1945, by Dwight Jewell. He serviced customers in Northern Illinois with Meat Processing and Top Quality Retail Meats, which were delivered to individual customers homes and businesses. Over the years Dwight shared his experience and talent with his daughter Janice and grandson Allen. As Allen grew up he worked very closely with his Grandfather  and then went on to college to earn his degree in the art of Meat Processing, as Allen's interests were much that of his Grandfathers and took great pride in the business his Grandfather had established.

Today Allen continues to carry on the Business with the assistance of his wife Sharon, Son's, Family members and a wonderful group of Employees who continue to pride themselves in providing top quality foods and services for a wide variety of Concession Events, Corporate Customers, Family Events and Customers who have been with us for many years.  Our new customers are appreciatively established by the recommendations of our current and past clientele or by those having attended one of our Catered or Concessionary events.

With appreciation for the needs of our customers, our foods are available seven days a week, and for Businesses with 2nd & 3rd shifts.  We  also provide food preparation for most Holidays; allowing families to have a catered meal without all the work, giving more time for them to enjoy family and friends.
